How God Healed Dodie Osteen from Cancer

Dodie Osteen was a devoted Christian, mother, devoted gospel minister, and pastor’s wife. She was usually in great shape, quite active, and bursting with enthusiasm.

Her life was perfect, and she and her husband, John, were eager to take advantage of their newly acquired freedom now that all of their children had grown up.

But disaster struck, and in 1981, she was diagnosed with metastatic liver cancer. Moreover, Dodie found it difficult to accept that her doctors had given up on her and that she only had a few weeks to live.

The doctors informed the Osteen family that the only thing they could do for Dodie was to do exploratory surgery, but she would still pass away.

As a result, after spending 20 days in the hospital, Pastor Osteen carried his wife home because he was not going to let them experiment on her, knowing that she would still die. After all, there was nothing they could do to save her.

For example, when Dodie got home, she informed her husband that they had no choice but to trust God to heal. They prayed the prayer of agreement on their first day back home after leaving the hospital.​
