As a man of faith, I believe that we are fearfully and wonderfully made, and that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. It is no wonder that we must do all we can to keep our bodies healthy and functioning properly, for it is through our bodies that we serve God and fulfill His purpose for our lives.
Yet, despite our best efforts, sometimes our bodies fall prey to illness and disease. As someone who has struggled with asthma for many years, I know firsthand the debilitating effects that this condition can have on our bodies and our spirits. The wheezing, the shortness of breath, the tightness in the chest – it can make even the simplest of tasks seem like insurmountable obstacles.
But I am here to tell you that there is hope. There is a source of healing that transcends all human understanding, and that is the Word of God.
Throughout the Bible, we see countless examples of God’s healing power at work. In Exodus, we read about the Israelites who were bitten by poisonous snakes in the desert, and how God instructed Moses to make a bronze serpent and place it on a pole. Anyone who was bitten and looked at the bronze serpent would live. This was a powerful symbol of the healing power of God, and a foreshadowing of the ultimate healing that would come through Jesus Christ.
In the New Testament, we see Jesus healing the sick and the afflicted, restoring sight to the blind, and making the lame to walk. He demonstrated the power of God to heal not just physical ailments, but emotional and spiritual ones as well.
And so, my dear reader, I invite you to join me on a journey through the healing scriptures for asthma.
Together, we will explore the promises of God, the stories of healing in the Bible, and the power of prayer and faith.
Whether you are a long-time sufferer of asthma or know someone who is, I believe that the words we will encounter will bring hope, comfort, and healing to your soul. Let us begin.

Powerful Prayer for Healing
Dear Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I come before you today to ask for your divine healing power to be released upon those who are struggling with asthma. Lord, we know that sickness and disease are not from you, but rather from the enemy who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10).
Lord, I ask that you send your mighty angels to wage war against the enemy who has brought this affliction upon us. I declare that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Your Word says that if we ask anything according to your will, you will hear us and grant our request (1 John 5:14). Therefore, I ask that you heal us of this asthma and restore us to full health and vitality.
Lord, I pray that you would touch every cell in our bodies, that you would restore our lungs to their full capacity, and that you would strengthen our immune systems to fight off any future attacks. I ask that you would remove any fear, anxiety, or doubt from our minds and replace it with your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, I also ask that you would reveal to us any spiritual strongholds or generational curses that may be contributing to this affliction. I pray that you would break these strongholds and curses in the name of Jesus, and that you would replace them with your love, joy, and peace.
Thank you, Lord, for your healing power and your faithfulness. I trust in you and your promises, and I declare that we are healed in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Final Word on Healing
As I come to the conclusion of this article on “Healing for Asthma,” I am reminded of a powerful truth: our bodies are wonderfully made by God. He knows every detail about us, including the very breath we take. He is a God of healing and restoration, and He longs to bring healing to every part of our lives.
For those of you who suffer from asthma, I want you to know that there is hope. God is able to bring healing to your body, and He has done it many times before. But the healing that God offers is not just physical. He offers us the ultimate healing of our souls, the forgiveness of our sins, and the gift of eternal life.
Through His Son, Jesus Christ, we can experience this healing and restoration in our lives. Jesus came to save us from our sins and offer us the gift of salvation. He died on the cross and rose again, so that we could have eternal life with Him. All we have to do is accept this gift by believing in Him and confessing Him as our Lord and Savior.
So, my dear friends, I urge you to consider this truth. God loves you, and He wants to bring healing and restoration to your life, both physically and spiritually. Won’t you accept His gift of salvation today? Turn to Jesus, and let Him be the Lord of your life. You will never be the same again.
May God bless you and bring you His peace and healing.
