Healing Scriptures for Marriage Restoration: 22 Kjv Bible Verses

By Faith Way

Have you ever felt like your marriage is on the brink of collapse? Have you ever wondered if there is hope for restoring what has been broken? If so, I have a message of hope and healing for you today.

As you may know, I am a firm believer in the power of words. Words have the ability to inspire, encourage, and uplift. But did you know that words also have the power to heal? In fact, throughout history, there have been countless stories of people who have experienced physical, emotional, and spiritual healing through the power of words.

And what better words to turn to than the words of the Almighty God Himself? The Bible is filled with promises of restoration and healing for our marriages. These promises are not just empty words; they are powerful and life-changing truths that have the ability to transform even the most broken and hopeless situations.

In the book of Malachi, God speaks through the prophet to a people whose hearts have grown cold and whose relationships have been shattered. He says, “For I hate divorce,” says the Lord, the God of Israel. “To divorce your wife is to overwhelm her with cruelty. So guard your heart; do not be unfaithful to your wife” (Malachi 2:16 NLT).

God’s heart for marriage is one of unity, love, and restoration. He desires for husbands and wives to love each other as Christ loves the church, and to be willing to lay down their lives for one another. And when our marriages are in need of healing and restoration, we can turn to the promises of God’s Word with confidence, knowing that He is faithful to fulfill His promises.

In this article, we will explore some of the most powerful healing scriptures for marriage restoration. We will delve into the stories behind these scriptures, and see how they can apply to our own lives and marriages. So join me on this journey of hope and healing, and let’s discover the transformative power of God’s Word together.

Powerful Prayer for Healing

Dear Heavenly Father, I come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for your divine intervention in my marriage. I believe that you are the God of restoration, and that with you, all things are possible. I ask that you release your healing power over my marriage and restore it to its original design, as it was when you first brought my spouse and I together.

I confess any sins that I have committed in my marriage that may have contributed to its downfall. I repent of them and ask for your forgiveness. Your Word says in 1 John 1:9, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” I ask for your forgiveness and cleansing in my marriage.

I come against any spirit of division, strife, and confusion that may be at work in my marriage. Your Word says in 2 Timothy 1:7, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” I claim this promise over my marriage and ask that you remove any spirit of fear and replace it with your power, love, and soundness of mind.

I ask that you open the eyes of my spouse to see the destruction that has been caused by the enemy, and that they may also confess any sins that they have committed. I pray that we will be able to forgive each other as you have forgiven us. Your Word says in Colossians 3:13, “Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”

I declare that my marriage is restored in the name of Jesus Christ. I ask for your continued protection and guidance over our marriage. Your Word says in Psalm 91:11-12, “For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.” I trust in your promises and believe that you will work all things for the good of those who love you.

Thank you, Lord, for your love and faithfulness towards me and my marriage. I pray this prayer in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Final Word on Healing

As you have learned from the article “Healing for Marriage Restoration,” marriage is a sacred institution that requires constant nurturing and care. It is a beautiful gift from God, and when it is broken, it can cause immense pain and suffering.

But here is the good news: God is in the business of healing and restoration. He is a God of second chances, and He can mend even the most broken of relationships. As it says in Jeremiah 32:27, “I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?”

Perhaps you are reading this article because your own marriage is in need of healing and restoration. If that is the case, I encourage you to turn to God in prayer and ask for His guidance and healing power. He is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you.

But beyond the restoration of our earthly relationships, there is something even greater at stake. As John 3:16 tells us, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

My friend, the greatest gift of all is God’s gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. By accepting Him as your personal Lord and Savior, you can experience the fullness of His love and grace, both in this life and in the life to come.

So I implore you, if you have not yet made the decision to accept Jesus into your heart, do not wait another moment. His arms are open wide, and He is waiting for you with love beyond measure.

May God bless you and keep you, now and always.
