I confess any sins that I have committed in my marriage that may have contributed to its downfall. I repent of them and ask for your forgiveness. Your Word says in 1 John 1:9, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” I ask for your forgiveness and cleansing in my marriage.
I come against any spirit of division, strife, and confusion that may be at work in my marriage. Your Word says in 2 Timothy 1:7, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” I claim this promise over my marriage and ask that you remove any spirit of fear and replace it with your power, love, and soundness of mind.
I ask that you open the eyes of my spouse to see the destruction that has been caused by the enemy, and that they may also confess any sins that they have committed. I pray that we will be able to forgive each other as you have forgiven us. Your Word says in Colossians 3:13, “Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”
I declare that my marriage is restored in the name of Jesus Christ. I ask for your continued protection and guidance over our marriage. Your Word says in Psalm 91:11-12, “For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.” I trust in your promises and believe that you will work all things for the good of those who love you.
