Healing Scriptures for Others: 22 Kjv Bible Verses

By Faith Way

As I sit down to write to you today, I am reminded of a quote from the great preacher Charles Spurgeon: “I believe that the greatest gift I can receive from God is the gift of His love manifested in the hearts of His people.” Truly, there is no greater gift than the love of God, and no greater expression of that love than when we share it with others.

If you’re anything like me, you know the power of prayer and the incredible impact it can have on the lives of those we love. There is nothing quite like the feeling of seeing a loved one healed, whether physically, emotionally, or spiritually. And as Christians, we know that God is the ultimate healer – it is through His power and grace that we are made whole.

But sometimes, it can be difficult to know where to start when praying for healing. Which scriptures should we turn to? How can we pray with faith and confidence? And what can we do to ensure that our prayers are truly effective?

That’s why I’ve put together this guide to Healing Scriptures for Others. In the pages that follow, we’ll explore some of the most powerful and transformative scriptures in the Bible, and we’ll learn how to apply them to our prayers for healing.

We’ll also hear stories of miraculous healings, both from biblical times and from the present day. We’ll see how God’s healing power is still at work in the world today, and we’ll be encouraged to pray with faith and expectancy for those we love.

So whether you’re struggling with sickness yourself, or you’re praying for a loved one who is in need of healing, I invite you to join me on this journey. Let’s explore the healing scriptures together and discover the incredible power of God’s love to transform lives.

Powerful Prayer for Healing

Dear Heavenly Father,

In the name of Jesus Christ, I come before you today to pray for those who are battling spiritual warfare in their lives. I declare your power and authority over all the works of darkness and the schemes of the enemy, and I ask that you bring healing and restoration to those who are in need.

Lord, I pray for those who are struggling with addiction, depression, anxiety, fear, and any other form of spiritual bondage. I declare freedom and deliverance over their lives, in the name of Jesus Christ. Your word says in Psalm 107:20, “He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.” I declare this promise over their lives today.

I pray that you fill them with your peace that surpasses all understanding, as stated in Philippians 4:7, so that they may have the strength to overcome the attacks of the enemy. I declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus, as promised in Romans 8:37.

Father, I pray that you send your angels to encamp around them, as stated in Psalm 34:7, to protect them from any harm or danger. I declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, as stated in Isaiah 54:17.

I pray that you reveal your love and grace to them, and that they may experience your presence in a powerful way. I declare that they are the apple of your eye, as stated in Psalm 17:8, and that you have a plan and a purpose for their lives, as stated in Jeremiah 29:11.

Lord, I thank you for the victory that we have in Jesus Christ, and I pray that you fill them with your Holy Spirit, to empower them to live a life that glorifies you. I declare that they are blessed and highly favored, as stated in Ephesians 1:3.

Thank you, Lord, for hearing this prayer. I declare healing and restoration over their lives, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Final Word on Healing

As I come to the end of this article, I cannot help but feel a deep sense of conviction in my heart. I have been writing about the topic of healing for others, but I cannot ignore the fact that the greatest healing that anyone can experience is the healing of their soul.

The Bible tells us that we are all sinners and that the wages of sin is death. We have all fallen short of God’s perfect standard and are in need of a Savior. But the good news is that God loves us so much that He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die for us on the cross so that we could be saved from our sins and have eternal life.

If you have not yet accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, I urge you to do so today. There is no greater gift than the gift of salvation, and it is available to all who believe in Him. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6).

As we seek to bring healing to others, let us not forget the ultimate healing that can only come through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. May we all have a heart that is open to His love and a willingness to surrender our lives to Him.

I leave you with these words from the Apostle Paul: “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes” (Romans 1:16).

May God bless you and keep you always.
