Prayer points are powerful… important… and lethal. These are mighty supernatural tools that every Christian intercessor must have in their spiritual armory.

Prayer points are spiritual tools and they have the propensity to shutdown and send packing; every assignment from the kingdom of darkness.

As believers of the Most-High God, we are called to a life of prayer, effectual fervent prayers that we must offer in and out of season.

Men are always to pray, and the stakes are even higher intercessors.

As a prayer intercessor, you are a spiritual snipper, the one with an eagle’s eye to see and shut down whatever the enemy is planning from a distance.

You are the spiritual gatekeeper of the church, your family, and community.

Satan will try to discourage you, his plan is to stop you from praying, and to eventually shut down all prayer meetings in the church.

But you must not let your guard down, you must continue to pray and watch daily.

You are the watchman of the city, and the Lord expects you to shut down the works and operations of darkness in your country.

You cannot afford to fail, God’s people are precious to him, and as such, you must reverse satan’s work and pronounce blessings over God’s people.

That’s where prayer points comes in handy, because having scripture-bases prayer points will ensure that God answers you.

Additionally, intercessory prayer points can help to better focus your prayers; giving intercessors direction in every prayer session when intercessors meet to pray.

A short word on prayer points

Prayer points must “ALWAYS” be based on specific passages of scripture, do not forget this, otherwise, you will pray without results.

Scripture forms the basis by which God will respond to any prayer.

In other words, God is only committed to answering what He says in scripture.

With this in understanding, you can now direct and pray concerning a particular situation, individual, community, or whatever is laid on your heart to pray about.

Using prayer points is effective and powerful

Using prayer points can help intercessors to pray more effectively and with greater purpose, energy, fire, power.

I recommend that you write down and memorize these prayer points to use even in your personal prayer life while praying alone in your secret closet.

Above all, you “must” remain open to the leading of the Holy Spirit as you pray even when you are using prayer points to focus your prayers.

The Holy Spirit is the one who leads us especially in prayer, so you must be willing to adapt and modify your prayer as the Spirit leads you.

Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Roman 8:26

And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Roman 8:27
