For this reason, allow these spiritual words of encouragement before surgery to bring joy, peace, and hope as you strengthen your faith in God by meditating on various faith Bible verses for surgery.

Other saints in Bible and saints today have turned to the scriptures to find help in seasons of trouble, and God came through for them.

Upon successful completion of this operation, I encourage you to keep building your faith with these Christian words of encouragement after surgery.

God can come through for you too. All He asks is that you have faith. And even if your faith is the size of a grain of a mustard seed, it’s still enough to access God’s promises.

“And He *said to them, “Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible to you.” Matthew 17:20.

That said, here are ten spiritual words of encouragement from the Bible that you can read and meditate on before surgery.

Isaiah 41:10

Isaiah 41:10 – Spiritual encouragement for when you’re fearful of the unknown

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”

The Good News: Fear is of the devil, and the intention is to manipulate and force you into thinking negatively about the outcome of the surgery and become anxious. But take comfort and fear not because the Lord will be with you to strengthen and uphold you with His right hand of righteousness.

Psalm 23:4

Psalm 23:4 – Spiritual encouragement for when you’re anxious

” Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”

The Good News: Take a look at Philippians 4:6 “do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”

Your Heavenly Father doesn’t want you to be anxious; anything may cause you to become anxious: the difficulty level of the operation, fear of the outcome, or the doctor’s report. But take heart because God will go through the valley with you, and nothing will harm you.
