For those of us who do not have the ability to witness a miraculous event, faith in the unseen can be a challenge. The great news is that God understands and is ready and willing to help us in our time of need. He promises us in Psalm 145:18-19, “The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear him, he hears their cry and saves them.” He is always there for us as long as we “call on Him in truth” and trust in His faithfulness.
But the Bible does not just tell us to have faith in the unseen. It also encourages us to exercise our faith by taking action. For instance, when Jesus was asleep on the boat during a storm, His disciples cried out to Him for help, and He responded by commanding the wind and waves to stop (Mark 4:35-41).
