Scriptures for a child having surgery
Isaiah 41:10 – Don’t worry, God has you and your child covered
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

You and your child will need all the encouragement you can get, and strength is one of those encouraging words that both of you need right now, so here is another verse that reminds you to be strong.
1 John 5:14-15 – Your prayers are heard
“And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.”
Pray with your child; God knows and hears those prayers.
Psalm 147:3 – May God heal your broken heart that is grieving for your child
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”

“For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
God loves both you and your child; nothing will separate you from His love as this verse says.
3 John 1:2 – It’s God’s will for your child to get well
“Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.”
It is God’s will that your child enjoys good health; receive it today.
