For this reason, I will share a few bible verses for surgery and healing that you can read to build your faith in God before and after surgery.

Bible Verses for Surgery and Healing​

Zephaniah 3:15

1. Isaiah 41:10 – God will strengthen and help you.

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God; I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”

Our God will strengthen you; He will help you, you are not alone.

2. Exodus 15:26 -The​ Lord is he that healeth you.

“Even before your surgery, the Lord says, ” If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.”

3. Psalm 118:17 – You​ will not die, but live to declare the works of the Lord.

“I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.”

Declare this Psalm over your life daily. Death will not win but meditate on this Psalm for safe surgery.

4. Matthew 8:17 – Jesus​ Christ paid the price for all; you are included.

“That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, He Himself took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses.”

Use this verse as a prayer bible verse for surgery, it’s a good prayer point that you can use to remain the Lord of His words before the operation.

Micah 7:8

5. Isaiah 53:5 – Praise God;​ you are healed.

“But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes, we are healed.”

Isaiah by the Spirit prophesied Christ, years later, Christ came and did as Isaiah prophesied. Let this verse be a reminder of God’s steadfast word; it will come to past, and here it says you’re healed.

6. Numbers 6:24–26—The Lord will make His face shine upon you.

“The Lord bless thee, and keep thee; The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee; The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.”

The Lord will not suffer your foot to be moved.

He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

The LORD is thy keeper; the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite you by day, nor the moon by night.

The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore.”

You’re still the apple of the Lord’s eyes, His face will shine upon you. Be patient and wait on your heavenly Father as you agree with Him.

Mediate before surgery

7. Psalm 138:8 – The Lord is doing a good work in you

“The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.”

This too will pass but while it passes over; your heavenly Father is working in you to make you stronger.

8. Psalm 91:1-2 -​ You are safe in the presence of the Lord

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”

Satan and his devices shall not prevail over you because you have made the Lord your secret place.

Exodus 14:14

9. Isaiah 43:1-2 – God​ has given you His word and He will not take it back

“But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.”

God will remain forever faithful.

10. Psalm 20:7 – It’s time to put your faith to work

“Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God.”

put all of the trust in God, not in the arm of flesh because it will fail and leave you disappointed. For this surgery; trust God to guide the doctors so that you may have a successful operation.

11. Psalm 91:15 – Call on God; He is waiting​

“He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.”

Luke:18:1, always pray, and at every given opportunity; call on your heavenly Father.

12. Psalm 103:3-4 – Receive the blessing from God

“Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies.”

13. Deuteronomy 31:6 – Be strong

“For the Lord thy God is he that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.”

Your heavenly will never leave you.

14. Jeremiah 17:14 – Healing is yours to accept.

“Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise.”

At all times be conscious of God’s promises of healing; shout them out lould.

15. James 5:14-16 – Ask other saints to pray for and with you.

“Is anyone sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

Ask other saints to pray for and with you as this scripture instructs.

16. Jeremiah 30:17 – God will restore your health.

“’But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,’ declares the Lord.”

Use this promise to claim a full restoration of health. God is faithful; only believe and you’ll see the healing that you desire.
